As usual, opened tabs are up to 11 and suddenly i get notification about updating firefox then appears a confirm box telling to close the browser, then installing update and then restore previous session (that’s the way FF does). Now i’ve updated to the latest version of Firefox. But wait.. There are, still, many users skip updating or upgrading (either OS or browser) and this is how web designer start working hard fixing / filtering bugs. Then turn up a decision wether designing for a specific browser and tell visitors “This site is best viewed with x browser or, maybe, this site only work with y browser” or put a great effort so it can readable by any browser. If you choose the last one, you can join “Viewable With Any Browser” campaign. But you can also trash all IE hacks. So far, i’ve installed 10 browsers on my Windows and 3 browsers (FF, Lynx and Konqueror) under my linux box.

My Browsers on Windows

From left to right: FF2, FF1.5, FF1.o.5, Opera 9, IE7, IE6, IE5.5, IE5.01, IE4.01 and IE3.0

Is it redundant or not enough? I dunno which one has same rendering engine. (Un)Fortunately i don’t have Mac :p.
